IRMM (Institute for Reference Materials and Measurements) is located in Geel (Belgium). During the last years, IRMM has supported a number of activities in many European countries and in particular the candidates for accession. The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism has signed a framework of cooperation with IRMM covering:
- Training activities
- Free supply of certified reference materials
- Free participation in proficiency testing schemes
